What method do you use to prepare your coffee or tea?
Submitted by AgentBouche.
Well.
I go to the coffee machine in the break room (break closet is more like it)and fill my mug with hot water. Then I dunk a green tea bag in it. Let it steep. That's at work. At home, I pour hot water over a similar green tea bag and let it steep.
Work's been crazylike this month. I don't remember February being this insane last year...
What's the next country you want to visit?
Submitted by Schomer.
This is such an unbelievably easy question to answer that I don't even need to think about it: Japan. I've been an anime geek since I was nineteen and into Asian history nearly as long. I download J-dramas as well as anime episodes these days, and there are several idols that I track. And there's so much in Japan I want to see!
However, reality check: Japan's one of the most expensive countries in the world to visit, and there's no way I can afford it right now. So really, the next country I will visit? I'm planning a vacation to Costa Rica next winter. I have a friend there, I can see palm trees for the first time in my life, and the exchange rate will make me feel rich.
Anyway. Yes, I'm still alive! Work has been the equivelent of hell since I last posted about packing for my conference in Reno and blogging here has been the last thing on my mind. I've been chained to my desk answering a string of complicated requests and now I'm checking in books and reports because someone decided to come in and complain about the pile up in my bin. Yeah, it's bad. But I'm alone, and I don't have much time to do checking in, especially with three or four other projects on my plate.
There are some days when I really hope one of my job applications works out. I think I may have to seek out a few more; I've been lax lately.
In more fun news, I got my question answered at The Catwalk Queen's Style Council today: What are the must-have items this spring? And the answer....well, apparently I can save my money, because they're rather similar to this autumn. At most, I might pick up a miniskirt if I think my legs will let me get away with it. Must walk more and firm up those muscles.
My company usually chintzes out and has a holiday "lunch" or "dinner" and it's always at the same Italian restaurant. Graziella's is very good, but frankly I'm tired of eating there between the holidays and a dozen birthday lunches all year round. (Also, it's expensive, and my budget is tight. Stranglehold tight.)
Anyway, this year they've decided on an actual cocktail party at the hotel across the street. I'm shocked! I also have no idea what I'm going to wear.
